How do I pay the USCIS filing fees for my application?
We take care of everything! Your contract will include a breakdown of the USCIS filing fees required by the U.S. government to process your application. These fees will be added to your total contract cost so that we can draft a check and include it with your submitted application.
Can I still work with Bilateral Immigration Services if I’m being represented by an attorney for another matter related to my immigration status?
Yes, our team can assist with a variety of immigration forms even if your working with an attorney on other issues.
I’m a permanent resident and I would like to submit a family petition for my parents. Is that possible?
No, only U.S. citizens that are age 21 and older can petition for their parents.
While my mother was visiting me with a tourist visa, I sponsored her for a green card. Can she travel back to Venezuela while both the I-130 and I-485 are pending?
She will need an advance parole document before leaving the country. Otherwise, she is considered to be abandoning her petition.
My cousin is a U.S. Citizen, can she sponsor me for a green card?
No, there is no family based category that allows a U.S. citizen to sponsor a cousin.
I’m a green card holder and would like to apply for a K1-Visa. Is that something I can do?
No, only a U.S. citizen can apply for a K1-Visa.
How many answers do I need to get correct on the U.S. citizenship civics test to pass?
During your naturalization interview, a USCIS officer will ask you up to 10 questions in English from the USCIS practice civics test. You must answer 6 questions correctly to pass.
Can I apply for asylum and work authorization at the same time?
No, you must wait 150 days after applying for asylum in order to be eligible for a work permit.
Can I apply for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and work authorization at the same time?
Yes, you can file both applications concurrently.
